Is this Host Cloud’s own shop?
Yes. Host Cloud online shops use our shopping cart system with a bespoke storefront — your store, designed for your brand.
Is the storefront a template?
No. Every online store gets a bespoke storefront. Your website and your store are designed for your brand — not picked from a ready template library.
What is a shopping cart system?
It’s the ecommerce engine behind your shop: catalogue, add to cart, checkout, payment, stock and order status. Customers buy; you fulfil — without building payment and cart code from scratch.
How do payments work?
Stripe is included as the payment gateway. You connect your own Stripe account — payments go to you. If you need a different payment gateway, contact sales and we’ll explain what your plan can support.
What is the setup cost?
Every online shop has a one-time Setup €95 fee for getting the cart, Stripe connection and store live. Hosting is included with the plan. The setup fee is shown under the monthly price on each plan — not mixed into the plan total.
Do I get a free domain?
Yes. Every Host Cloud online store includes a free .ie domain so your shop has an Irish name from the start.
How is this different from a business website?
A business website presents your company and takes enquiries. An online shop adds a full shopping cart so visitors can buy products and pay online via Stripe.
