Are you an official .ie registrar?
Yes. Host Cloud is an official .IE Accredited Registrar with IEDR. Your .ie is registered and managed directly with us in your Host Cloud account.
Do Irish charities get a free .ie domain?
Yes. Under the .IE charity policy, registered charities can get a .ie domain with registration and renewal fees waived. Host Cloud supports this as an accredited registrar.
You’ll need proof of charitable status — a Revenue Commissioners CHY / RCN number, or registration with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland. Email us with the charity name and address, a contact name, email and phone, your CHY/RCN (or NI charity number), and the .ie name you want. If the domain doesn’t match the charity name, a short signed letter on headed paper may be required.
